Micah: The Minor Prophets

Continuing our series on the Minor Prophets, with Micah. This is one of the more significant book in the collection known as the Minor Prophets. These are just a few of the well known words from this book:

• Micah 4:3 – beat the swords into ploughshares
• 5:2 – But you Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you will come a ruler …
• 7:6 – a man’s enemies will be those of his own household

I really was wondering which of the book’s seven chapters to read today, but settled upon chapter 3 as a lesser known example, and one which reflects many of the issues that are central to understanding the book.
